This tutorial is in the continuation of AC to DC conversion and rectification. LM317 is used to get regulated power. LM317 is a variable voltage regulator. You can get variable power supply by changing value of R1 and R2

1.1 LM317 Calculator
Output voltage as per R1 and R2 can be calculated from the following calculator. (Unit of R1, R2 is Ohms, Unit of V out is Volt.)
Value of R2 can be calculated as per Output voltage and R1 by the following calculator. (Unit of R1, R2 is Ohms, Unit of V out is Volt.)

2. Circuit
