Robo India presents tutorial to make a wireless robot using RF MOTOR Driver of ROBO INDIA.
1. Introduction:
Robo India RF motor driver works on Radio Frequency wireless communication. It has got two parts, Remote and Receiver. Remote has got a RF transmitter and Receiver has got a RF receiver. 12E and 12D is using for encoding and decoding of communication. The receiver part has got one onboard L293D motor driver that can drive 2 motors as per the signal received by 12E.
2. Connection
You will need to make following connection on remote and receiver.
On remote you just need to give it power supply that may range between +9V to +12V. The RF Motor Driver has got 8 channels. You can make combination of channel by putting jumper on it. But you need to make same arrangement on both remote and receiver.
This channels are for the purpose of distinguishing. When you are having more than one RF system you need to distinguish one from another. In such chase use different channels.

3. Testing
The remote of RF Motor Driver has got 4 buttons, A,B,C and D. A and B are for left motor. C and D are for right motor. A and C are for forward motion of motor, while B and D are for back ward motion of motors.
After making connection as shown in above step.
Press button A, if motor moves in forward direction, Its fantastic. If it rotates in backward direction swap both wires left motor on receiver. Do the same practive for right motors as well by pressing C button.
It is necessary for the robot to move forward by A and C button.
4. Robot Motion
If you have performed step 3. You must be knowing that-
Forward Motion: By pressing A and C together robot will move in forward direction.
Backward Motion:By pressing B and D together robot will move in backward direction.
Left Turn: By pressing B and C together robot will turn left.
Turn Right: By pressing A and D together robot will turn right.
