Robotic Gripper Assembly


Step by step guide for assembling Robo India’s Robotic Gripper.

3. Assembly:

3.1 Take left griper hand two connecting rods bot and nuts. 

3.2 Tight the gripper hand between two rods. You may need to check nut this bolt, that is why two nuts are use. It is advised to check nut all of the bolts of the assembly.

3.3 Do the same with right gripper hand.

3.4 Take base plate and hands of the gripper. 

3.5 Tight the base plate between two connecting rods as shown in the picture. 

3.6 Repeat this step for right hand as well.

3.7 Take micro servo (9g) and the assembly till now you have made. 

3.8 Tight servo from downward direction as shown in the picture. 

3.9 Take left gear, spacer, nut and bolt make the following arrangement. 

3.10 Tight this to base plate.

3.11 Tight another end of gear to the left gripper end. A space is to be there between them as shown in the diagram.

3.12 Repeat step 3.11 for right gear as well.

3.13 Stick servo coupling to the right gear. You may use instant adhesive.

3.14 Fix and tight this coupling to the servo.
